Here’s the full details for my upcoming solo exhibition..

The exhibition is a mix of small black and white nudes shot on film and some digital self portraits playing dress up, mixed with a few words and soundtracked by my love of music.
Looking at the prints, there’s definitely a little bit of surrealism and theatre of the absurd kicking around in the background because most emotionally abusive behaviours are absurd to me - gaslighting, insidious abuse and coercive control are all based in creating fabrications with urgency, designed to make us question ourselves, our gut instinct and our judgement. Finding ways to play with those experiences and learning about how chaotic my brains can be has been really rewarding. I hope they make people laugh and smile.
While the exhibition is on I’ll also have a few bits of writing about some of the experiences behind a few of the images to share over at Lost and Found as I know some lovely souls have been following my adventures in healing my sh*t and all that stuff. THANK YOU to everyone who supports my work, sends me encouraging patter and who believe me and believe in me. I hope you can see from taking this wee leap of faith into my own creativity that you’ve made a huge difference to the way I live and without turning into a gushing weirdo it’s just feels really important to share the gratitude as hate and misogyny are really fucking loud and relentless.
